Life Enrichment Assistant

As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you'll play a vital role in planning and executing life-enriching activities that promote social welfare and interest among our senior living community residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Coordinator/Director to develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and engaging environment for activities, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and accessible.
  • Coordinate outings and transportation for residents, utilizing our community shuttle bus and providing assistance as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, understanding their preferences and needs to create personalized experiences.
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure seamless integration of activities with resident care plans.
Requirements:
  • Compassionate and empathetic towards seniors, with a strong understanding of their needs and preferences.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in senior living or a similar setting.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Proficient in general computer skills and able to learn new software and systems.
