Colby College, a prestigious liberal arts institution, seeks a highly skilled Chief Advancement Officer to lead its fundraising and advancement efforts to historic levels. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, this key leadership position will oversee all aspects of fundraising, alumni and donor engagement, operations, and research.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to support the Dare Northward campaign, aiming to raise $1 billion for Colby College.
• Foster a diverse and inclusive working environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork within the Advancement Office.
• Utilize contemporary analytics to guide the office's efforts, ensuring data-informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Requirements
• Proven track record in comprehensive campaign management, with a minimum of ten years of fundraising and managerial experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate, solicit, and steward high-level prospects.
• Strong work ethic, flexibility to travel, and a bachelor's degree are required.
