In the role of Territory Sales Executive for Alternate Healthcare Sites, you will be tasked with overseeing and expanding all Cepheid operations in the non-acute healthcare markets for both current and potential clients by introducing new diagnostic concepts and ensuring the successful implementation of GeneXpert Systems along with a diverse portfolio of over 20 diagnostic tests, including Xpert Xpress SARS-CoV-2/Flu/RSV.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to:Foster and sustain positive relationships with Health System Clinics, regional and local reference laboratories, large multi-specialty clinics, women's clinics, other physician office laboratories, college and university student health centers, long-term care facilities, STD clinics, urgent care/walk-in clinics, correctional facilities, and free-standing emergency departments to identify qualified leads, expand market presence, and boost revenue.
Drive demand for and facilitate the adoption of new assays and instrumentation to meet quarterly and annual sales objectives; enhance profit margins on equipment, reagent, and service contract sales.
Collaborate effectively within distributor sales teams to promote Cepheid instruments and testing applications without direct authority.Streamline cycle time by utilizing a CRM tool to maintain customer and account activity, enhance visibility, and prioritize the sales pipeline.
Key qualifications for this position include:
A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant healthcare sales experience, ideally in laboratory diagnostics, distribution, clinical laboratory, and/or life sciences, OR a Master's degree in a related field with at least 3 years of comparable healthcare sales experience.
Demonstrated sales success, particularly in marketing premium-priced products.Willingness to travel 50%, including overnight stays within the sales territory.
It would be advantageous if you also have prior experience in:
Expertise in generating demand for innovative technologies as opposed to replacement technologies.
Experience engaging multiple stakeholders within the alternate-site markets.
