Medical Transporter

Job Description
This is a full-time position at UW Health, requiring excellent customer service skills and the ability to safely transport patients to and from nursing units and therapy/laboratory areas.
Responsibilities include utilizing the Patient Transport information system to acquire and record transactional records, documenting transport information on daily log sheets, and obtaining signatures from clinical staff for all cancelations, reschedules, and confirmations of patient drop-offs.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Relevant patient care experience in a healthcare environment is preferred. CPR certification or the ability to receive certification within 60 days of hire is also required.
