Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN to join our Transport Team as a Clinical Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating and triaging patient transport, referral requests, and participating in the efficient management of patient transfers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and triage patient transport, referral requests, and participate in the efficient management of patient transfers
  • Act as a central communication source for all components of the transport and consultation process
  • Coordinate the mode of transport and collaborate with medical control for appropriate team compositions
  • Act as a resource to community and hospital-based providers
  • Demonstrate effective multi-tasking, communication skills, and clinical practices

Requirements:

  • Current license to practice professional nursing - RN in the State of Wisconsin
  • Three or more years of nursing/patient care experience
  • Previous critical care or emergency room experience as a nurse preferred
  • Knowledge of a variety of pediatric healthcare specialties, including level of care, symptom identification, critical thinking, and decision-making
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
