Transportation Specialist

UW Health is seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will be responsible for safely operating a UW Health fleet vehicle to transport various materials, including supplies, medical equipment, and records.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a UW Health fleet vehicle to pick up and deliver materials to various locations.
Load and unload items for delivery, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to their needs and concerns.
Perform regular vehicle safety inspections and monitor oil and fuel levels to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Follow established procedures and safety protocols while operating a motor vehicle.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
1-2 years of experience in a delivery or transportation role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Valid Wisconsin driver's license and a clean driving record.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
