Position Overview:

The Evening Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the Plant Operations team, ensuring the efficient functioning of the facility, equipment, and systems while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and mentor the Plant Operations staff to foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
  • Coordinate and prioritize work requests to ensure timely execution and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Engage in daily operations alongside maintenance personnel to facilitate hands-on support.
  • Assist in maintaining the safety and operational integrity of the buildings.
  • Manage procurement of departmental supplies and oversee inventory processes.
  • Exhibit leadership during emergencies, ensuring customer satisfaction through exemplary conduct.
  • Support the Plant Operations Director in managing various operational initiatives, including patient satisfaction and safety protocols.
  • Oversee inventory management and purchasing agreements, ensuring smooth billing processes.
  • Assign tasks to mechanics and monitor daily operations to optimize resource utilization.
  • Conduct inspections of completed work to guarantee quality standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in maintenance roles.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, preferably in utility management and equipment maintenance.
  • Proficient in planning, organizing, and procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with applicable regulatory codes and requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.

Certifications:

CHFM certification is preferred.
