Key Responsibilities:


The Construction Project Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned projects, typically valued at $5M or less. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the construction workflow from project inception to completion, including estimating, contracting, and financial management.
  • Collaborating with Owners, Design Professionals, and stakeholders to clarify project requirements and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Handling building permits and regulatory compliance.
  • Conducting site visits to monitor safety, quality, and adherence to project scope.
  • Preparing and managing cost estimates and proposals for change management.
  • Developing project schedules to establish a baseline for progress tracking.
  • Implementing strategies for subcontracting or self-performing project tasks to meet objectives.
  • Negotiating contracts and purchase orders as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction.
- Proven experience in estimating and managing both subcontracted and self-performed work.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and practices related to commercial and institutional projects.
- Experience in government contracting is advantageous.

Preferred Certifications:
- OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
- Current CQC certification from USACE/NAVFAC.
- Professional credentials such as Associate Constructor (AC), Certified Professional Constructor (CPC), or PE in good standing.
