Commercial Renovation Project Management Opportunity

This is a direct hire position with benefits, offering a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per year.

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager with 3+ years of experience supporting a commercial or industrial GC to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on government or healthcare projects, although we are open to any commercial/industrial project management background.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the construction workflow process, including estimating, negotiation, contracting, buyout, construction administration, financial management, and closeout.
  • Meet with Owners, Design Professionals, and other stakeholders to determine project requirements, manage client satisfaction, and take immediate action to respond to problems and concerns.
  • Manage building permits and other regulatory requirements.
  • Visit project work sites to assure safety, quality, and cleanliness and to manage the overall contracted scope of work.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage cost estimates and proposals related to the change management process.
  • Create and develop critical path project schedules to establish a baseline schedule.
  • Implement strategies to subcontract or self-perform the various aspects of a project to achieve the project objectives of price, schedule, and quality.
  • Negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders as needed.
Requirements
  • B.S. degree in engineering or construction management strongly preferred.
  • At least 3 years prior Project Manager experience with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor.
  • Prior renovation project experience is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of construction means and methods.
  • Government contracting experience is preferred.
