Role Overview

As a Quality Assurance Tester at IdeaCrew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of our software products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Test Planning: Develop clear and detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Comprehensive Testing: Execute full cycle testing including Smoke, Unit, Functional, Integration, UAT, and Regression across various environments.
  • Automation Development: Create and maintain automated test scripts while managing and resolving test defects.
  • Defect Management: Conduct defect tracking, gap analysis, and risk assessment, with a solid understanding of HIPAA compliance.
  • Independent Problem Solving: Work autonomously to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure compliance with customer standards and requirements.
  • Business Engagement: Participate in discussions regarding project scope and user interfaces.
  • Customer Support: Troubleshoot and provide support for application-related issues.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a QA Tester or Engineer role.
  • Proficient in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience in creating and executing both manual test cases and automated test scripts.
  • Strong written communication skills for producing reports and technical documentation.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead meetings with various stakeholders including leadership, team members, and clients.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Redmine or Jira.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry is advantageous, particularly in validating EDI transactions.
