Role Summary:
The Solar Energy Installation Trainee is a full-time position dedicated to assisting in all facets of Residential PV project implementations, which includes technical installations, customer engagement, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. We encourage applications from candidates who possess some of the required skills and demonstrate a willingness to develop in other areas.
Compensation and Benefits:

- Starting salary of $20.50/hr, with potential for additional compensation based on experience and/or apprenticeship hours

Desire to Learn: Eagerness to understand project details and best practices in PV Solar installation.
Critical Thinking: Ability to evaluate operational decisions to ensure safe and efficient task completion.
Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
Mathematical Understanding: Competence in basic arithmetic for installation specifications.
Technical Reading Skills: Ability to interpret site plans and electrical diagrams to comply with NEC and local regulations.
Job Expectations:
Travel Requirements: Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for commuting to various job sites.
Physical Demands: The role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and climbing ladders to access roofs.
Work Environment: The noise level is typically moderate, with varying conditions based on the installation site.
