**Billing Operations Manager**

Job Summary
Community Counseling Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Billing Operations Manager to oversee and ensure the completion of behavioral health, public health, primary care, residential, and contract billings. The successful candidate will work under the general direction of the Business Operations Manager and will be responsible for supervising Billing Specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage and supervise billing staff to ensure accurate and timely data entry and billing related to insurance, private pay, and other payer sources.
- Provide direct supervision, training, and staff development to ensure the team meets the required standards.
- Work with the HR Director and Business Operations Manager to handle disciplinary matters, job performance evaluations, interviewing, and making recommendations on hiring and termination.
- Provide leadership, problem-solving, mentoring, coaching, and professional assistance to staff.
- Ensure billing coverage for sick leave, vacation, and other personal time.
- Analyze and provide quality assurance on billings and claims to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable billing standards.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. certificate is required.
- An associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Two years of responsible administrative experience, including medical insurance/healthcare billing and collections, basic accounting, computer, and office management functions.
- Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.

Other Skills and Abilities
- Considerable knowledge of office principles and practices.
- General knowledge and experience of basic accounting procedures, word processing, and data entry.
- Knowledge of computer databases is essential.
- Must be a self-starter and demonstrate the ability to supervise and assign work to subordinates.
- Ability to work effectively with other employees and the general public.
- In-depth knowledge of payers (federal, state, and private) fiscal requirements and guidelines.
- Good organizational and time management skills are essential.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of standard office equipment, including computers, phone systems, copiers, and fax machines.
- The position requires handling highly confidential information.
- Must adhere to rules and laws pertaining to client confidentiality.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats.
Work Environment
The work environment is an office setting with moderate noise levels. Occasional out-of-area travel and overnight stays may be required for meetings or trainings.
Salary Description
$59,955-$88,780 annually - Depending on experience
