Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team. This role requires extensive travel, and candidates must be prepared for extended periods away from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Support the execution and oversight of project contracts.
  • Create and present detailed reports and spreadsheets using computer software.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the project team, including the Project Foreman, Project Manager, General Contractor, Architect/Engineer, and subcontractors.
  • Generate and manage project documentation throughout all phases of construction, including requests for information, submittals, drawings, specifications, purchase orders, material orders, change orders, and close-out documents.
  • Conduct material take-offs from drawings to assist in estimating and managing changes.
  • Exhibit attention to detail, efficiency, and integrity in all work-related tasks.
  • Adapt to various work environments and project locations as required.
  • Participate in and lead meetings as necessary.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on project needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience through internships, co-ops, or industry roles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organization in a fast-paced setting.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in utilizing various software applications.
  • Engineer-in-training certification, Journeyman license, and field experience are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and effective follow-up capabilities.
