Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative II to oversee customer freight, manage transportation of goods, and meet the needs of high-volume accounts. As a key member of our team, you will establish detailed profiles and procedures to best serve our customers' export processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee customer freight through tracing and tracking
  • Maintain contact with airlines, trucking companies, and agents to ensure shipper and consignee awareness of any problems
  • Ensure service completion and provide proof of delivery
  • Manage customer support by responding to and handling daily customer service requests
  • Notify customers of any delays in shipping and dispatching points
  • Prepare and assist with quotes for customers
  • Perform various data management tasks, including entering shipment data, preparing rates and invoices, and running sales reports
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two to three years related experience
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications
  • Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using units of U.S. currency, weight, volume, and distance measurements
