Position Summary:
The role involves the installation and maintenance of air, hydraulic, and grease lines for machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow directives from the Team Leader or Supervisor.
  • Mentor and support new team members.
  • Communicate job progress to the Electric/Pneumatic Assembly Supervisor.
  • Aid in the start-up and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Ensure high-quality craftsmanship in all tasks performed.
  • Uphold and promote excellent housekeeping standards among team members.
  • Understand project deadlines and organize work accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Controls Engineers to resolve design and control issues.
  • Suggest improvements for work methods and materials to enhance existing designs.
  • Travel as necessary to assist with installations, troubleshooting, and customer support.
  • Provide daily updates to the supervisor regarding job progress.
  • Propose and document engineering changes as needed.
  • Assist in the packing and loading of machinery for transport.
  • Fill in for absent team members as required.
  • Order materials and coordinate with Receiving as necessary.
  • Proficiently read and interpret technical drawings.
Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma is mandatory.
Preferred: Journeyman's card or equivalent Journeyman status.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in industrial pipefitting.
