Role Summary: The selected candidate will undergo comprehensive training on Lincoln Electric's product offerings and will subsequently travel to client locations to deliver service and technical support. This includes troubleshooting, repairs, installations, maintenance, and training on various industrial automation systems. Support activities will be conducted both on-site at customer facilities and at company-owned locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide field service and commissioning assistance for industrial machinery.
- Collaborate with customers and local trades to diagnose equipment issues.
- Perform debugging and servicing of electrical components.
- Conduct end-user training on equipment operation.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC-based systems.
- Program and troubleshoot HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems.
- Develop new PLC and HMI applications tailored to customer specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Mechatronics degrees are also considered.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as VB, C / C++, or C#.
- Understanding of electrical circuits, schematic interpretation, design, and troubleshooting.
- Mathematical proficiency in geometry and trigonometry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows TM and Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time.
