Overview:
Kinwell is a forward-thinking healthcare organization that prioritizes personalized care and employee growth. We're seeking an experienced Clinical Training Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of our Medical Assistant program.

About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of primary care by designing and implementing effective training programs for Medical Assistants. As a Clinical Training Specialist, you'll work closely with clinic operations management to identify educational needs and develop tailored curricula. Your expertise will be essential in creating a seamless onboarding experience for new teammates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to assigned clinics in King County and North Puget Sound to provide onboarding and training for new Medical Assistants.
  • Collaborate with clinic management to design and continuously improve curriculum for new hire orientation.
  • Teach courses and provide training on medical equipment and roles and responsibilities as a valuable member of the clinical team.
  • Promote critical thinking among Medical Assistants and demonstrate commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.
  • Conduct competency assessments of new Medical Assistants and Patient Care Coordinators to ensure skill knowledge and abilities within 30 days of hire.

What You'll Bring:
  • Associate degree or graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Washington State Medical Assistant Certified certification, WA State Only.
  • 5-7 years medical assisting experience in a clinical setting.
  • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN) is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent critical thinking, flexibility, problem-solving, and communication skills.
