Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at Wettermark and Keith Law Firm. As a Medical Records Coordinator, you will play a critical role in maintaining, organizing, and summarizing medical and billing records, legal files, and documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process requests for health information and compile, verify, type, and file medical records of hospitals or other healthcare facilities.
  • Review medical and billing records for completeness and produce accurate summaries of clients' medical histories.
  • Perform tasks as needed to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Two to four years' experience in a records management environment, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Strong PC skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with firm personnel at all levels with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Knowledge of litigation documents is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal direct supervision.
