records on new admissions, ensuring all necessary forms are present.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EReviewing records, MARS, and TARS for accurate transcription and entering any orders into the computer system.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EReducing records each month, filing information in office files, and retrieving from files when needed.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ECompiling discharge records, closing records, and filing information in office files.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EPerforming record audits for completeness, ensuring all documents are present, in appropriate order, and that all necessary signatures are present and timely.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EEnsuring physician completes and signs discharge summaries.\u003C/li\u003E\u003C/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EQualifications:\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EMust be a Licensed Practical Nurse - experience in long term care a plus.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EWorking knowledge in medical terminology, and physician orders.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EExcellent telephone, communication, and interpersonal skills.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EGood organizational and filing skills.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAbility to perform basic computer skills required for electronic documentation.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EWorking knowledge of computers, keyboard, and data processing skills.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EPatience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAbility to speak, read, write, and understand English.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAt least 18 years of
