About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Lead to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our maintenance program, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the optimal performance of our facilities and equipment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance activities, ensuring that costs are optimized and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring that maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field or 4 years of experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role, with a strong background in maintenance and repair.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Evidence of insurability required.
  • Ability to read and understand existing and planned facility drawings, plans, schematics, and specifications.
  • Ability to develop and communicate work steps required to maintain and test existing and planned equipment and control systems.
  • Ability to manage and/or monitor multiple projects and activities occurring simultaneously.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, database applications, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and environments wherein there is exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, noxious odors, gases, chemicals, and mechanical and electrical hazards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work occasionally at elevated heights.
