Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide new residents through the program and facility orientation
  • Implement bed bug protocols with incoming residents
  • Prepare facilities for the arrival of new clients
  • Address the various needs of shelter residents
  • Uphold program standards to maintain a safe and stable environment
  • Respond to hotline inquiries as necessary
  • Conduct regular room inspections
  • Enforce the residence's rules and policies
  • Monitor the facility and coordinate necessary repairs
  • Delegate weekly responsibilities and assist in skill development
  • Provide continuous updates during staff meetings regarding individual resident issues
  • Maintain a supportive and professional rapport with all staff and volunteers
  • Engage in Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) activities as required

Work Schedule: Part-time position with shifts from Sunday 9 AM to Monday 9 AM, including 5 hours of rest during the shift, alternating weekends.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma is required, with some college education preferred.
  • Familiarity with the dynamics of domestic violence and experience in non-profit or shelter environments is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license and insurance are mandatory, along with successful completion of background checks.
  • On-site residency is required, with separate living accommodations provided.
