Electronics Engineer Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated electronics engineer to join our innovative AMC Restricted Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge electronics systems and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test fixtures and software test solutions
  • Integrate test fixtures and software into a functioning test solution
  • Test equipment and software certification per customer requirements
  • Test system deployment and factory support
  • Software maintenance and/or hardware fixture update initiatives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years' experience, Master's degree in STEM with 3 years' experience, Ph.D. degree in STEM with 0 years' experience
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, schematics, and block diagrams
  • Mix of hardware and software skills
  • Experience in text-based programming (e.g., C/C++)
  • Background and working knowledge in RF theory and concepts
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Experience with test and measurement equipment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline
  • Test design and integration background
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and guidance
  • Experience with LabWindows CVI, C/C++ programming
  • LabVIEW programming
  • Experience with schematic design tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics, Zuken, etc.)
  • Proficiency with digital, analog, RF test equipment, RF theory, and high-speed digital design
  • Familiarity with differential digital interfaces like LVDS - PXI/PXIe and VME bus experience
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of electronic hardware
  • Active clearance

We offer a competitive salary range of $102,400 - $153,600 and a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
