Job Title: Sr. Principal Electronics Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Principal Electronics Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex electronic systems, including hardware and software components. Your expertise in test and measurement equipment, as well as your ability to troubleshoot complex electronic systems, will be essential in driving the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop hardware and software components for complex electronic systems
  • Develop and implement test plans and procedures for electronic systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components
  • Troubleshoot complex electronic systems and identify root causes of issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, plus 9 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, plus 7 years of relevant experience, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field, plus 5 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Experience with test and measurement equipment, including DC, Analog, Digital, and RF test equipment
  • Strong understanding of electronic systems, including hardware and software components
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with Lab Windows CVI, C/C++ programming, and test stand programming
  • Proficiency with digital, analog, RF test equipment, and high-speed digital design
  • Familiarity with differential digital interfaces, such as LVDS, PXI/PXIe, and VME bus

Salary Range:

$127,000 - $190,600
