Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff/Sr. Staff Systems Engineer to join our team at SciTec, Inc. in Boulder, CO. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering Next-Generation Missile Warning software and supporting our programs in the defense and aerospace fields.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute systems engineering processes aligned with IEEE 15288.
  • Perform requirements derivation, decomposition, and allocation.
  • Coordinate between program managers, software developers, and other members of the systems engineering team.
  • Design and model systems architectures for remote sensor data processing systems.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
  • Minimum of two years professional experience in Systems Engineering.
  • Domain experience with remote sensing systems or software architecture.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Experience supporting systems engineering programs in the defense and aerospace fields.
  • Additional professional experience in systems engineering beyond five years.
  • Familiarity with SysML or the Cameo/MagicDraw family.
  • Ability to read computer code (Python, C++, etc).
  • Experience with Agile software development methods.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management and project leadership.

The pay range for this position is $96,000 - $141,000/year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. This is not a guarantee of compensation.
