Core Responsibilities:
- Upholding all safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards to maintain a secure workplace for all staff.
- Serving as a vital information resource for the team, ensuring adherence to protocols and consistency, and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
- Guiding, training, and nurturing team members for career advancement, performance enhancement, and recognition.
- Developing, communicating, and sustaining quality control standards and operational procedures for team members.
- Identifying and spearheading process enhancement initiatives utilizing Lean methodologies to exceed customer expectations.
- Formulating and executing productivity strategies by analyzing work forecasts and establishing productivity needs.
- Assessing performance metrics to ascertain inbound or outbound productivity requirements to meet customer standards for timeliness, accuracy, and quality.
- Collaborating with fellow managers and stakeholders to exchange best practices across various shifts and the broader network.
- Working alongside the Manager and warehouse teams to address immediate operational challenges.
- Cultivating strong relationships with senior leadership as a trusted advisor.
- Effectively managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with clear communication and thorough follow-through.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Professional demeanor with a clear and articulate communication style.
- Capacity to collaborate across various functions and integrate diverse perspectives into a cohesive action plan.
- Proficient in communicating effectively with different audiences and adapting approaches as needed.
- Solid computer skills, including experience with WMS and other organizational tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 3 years of experience in operations management.
- Analytical skills necessary for data collection, interpretation, and the development of actionable solutions.
