Shift Details:
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 12pm - 8:30 pm
Compensation: Starting at $19.00/hr + Shift Premium
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proficient Mechanical Assembly Technician to undertake a range of tasks associated with the assembly of our products. The ideal candidate will ensure that all components fit accurately and meet the standards required for the final product. This role involves consistently performing high-level work while adhering to quality benchmarks. Responsibilities may vary based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute repetitive assembly tasks on production lines according to established standard procedures.
- Identify quality issues and unsafe conditions while maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
- Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and guidelines.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and materials for assembly.
- Utilize pneumatic and hand tools, as well as measuring instruments necessary for job execution.
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment, generating repair requests as necessary.
- Handle loading and unloading tasks, including operating forklifts and hoists.
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, anticipating supply needs, and processing orders.
- Perform various tasks including brazing, soldering, machine operation, and quality testing.
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment by following established procedures and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, and measuring devices.
- Basic mechanical understanding and ability to operate equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with computer systems is advantageous.
