Job Summary

VetJobs is seeking a skilled Applications and SharePoint Administrator to join our team in Blackstone, VA. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing front-end modifications and enhancements for system applications, as well as providing technical support for SharePoint and other third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, integrate, test, implement, and validate new features and applications based on documented project requirements.
  • Assist other team members with standard builds, operations, security, and troubleshooting in support of SharePoint and other applications/systems.
  • Collaborate with programmer team members to translate requirements into customized solutions.
  • Load and maintain content to SharePoint and other content management systems while ensuring synchronization across all platforms.
  • Build workflows and custom solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate/Flow.
  • Leverage the integration of Microsoft 365 applications (to include Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.) with SharePoint to increase efficiency and develop new processes.
  • Perform SharePoint site administration functions, including creating new views and subsites, maintaining lists and document libraries, developing workflows, troubleshooting issues, and managing user permissions/access requests.
Requirements
  • Three (3) years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of formal education and relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience/certification(s) required.
  • Data organization skills, (i.e., pattern identification, attention to detail, cataloging/classification and storage methods).
  • Possesses critical thinking skills to conceptualize solutions within specified parameters.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online.
  • Maintains professionalism under pressure, particularly with deadlines, and exhibits flexibility with shifting workloads and priorities.
  • Able to perform assigned duties within a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills to include data visualization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Security Clearance: Must be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
