As an Optometrist at Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in inspiring health and serving with compassion. This position requires a Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program and licensure as an optometrist in the state of South Carolina.
About the Role
- This is a non-management job that reports to a supervisor or manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality medical services to patients, diagnosing, preventing, or treating eye-related disorders and conditions.
- Renders medical treatment consistent with professional standards, regardless of patient ability to pay.
- Complete accurate records, using Current Procedural Terminology and International Classification of Diseases codes.
Requirements
- Doctorate- Doctor of Optometry. Graduate of accredited optometry program.
- No previous experience- 2 years' experience in an ophthalmology practice.
Salary Information
We offer a competitive salary range for this position: $120,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on experience. Benefits include participation in our comprehensive benefits package.
