Brest, Bretagne, United States MRG Exams Full time
About the Role

MRG Exams is a leader and premier service provider of independent medical examinations, seeking a part-time Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams on United States Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process.

The Optometrist will be responsible for reviewing medical health records through a secure Web Portal and performing a comprehensive eye exam on each veteran, completing forms through the Web Portal. It's essential to note that this role does not involve making determinations; instead, the VA makes all determinations. This position is also non-treating, focusing solely on providing assessments.

This 1099 Independent Contractor position requires working Mondays and Wednesdays from 8a-4p. To excel in this role, you should be interested in performing comprehensive eye exam assessments rather than traditional patient care and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete forms and provide medical opinions.
  • Submit completed forms within 24 hours after an exam.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Hold a current license as an Optometrist in the state where exams are performed.
  • Be able to perform Visual Field Testing (VFT).

In your application, you consent to transmitting your information to the Employer through SonicJobs. Please see the Privacy Policy at us/privacy-policy and Terms of Use at us/terms-conditions.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
