Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Marklund Day School. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the educational and therapeutic needs of our students with complex disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Implement behavior management techniques to support students with challenging behaviors
- Document student progress and participation records
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Provide direct support to students with special needs, including one-on-one and group instruction
- Assist with classroom setup and maintenance, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Illinois Paraprofessional Educator license (obtainable within 30 days of hire)
- Registered Behavior Technician License
- Ability to perform essential job functions and meet functional and environmental requirements
