Role Summary

The Culinary Service Associate is tasked with various responsibilities, including monitoring food temperatures, maintaining a clean serving area, preparing and serving meals, restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and processing transactions using a computerized register. Adherence to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines is essential. The role requires delivering excellent customer service and effective communication with patrons and colleagues.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality control standards and operating kitchen equipment such as grills, beverage dispensers, and dishwashers. Experience in the food service industry is preferred.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently when necessary, understand food safety and sanitation practices, and be capable of standing for extended periods and walking distances.

Qualifications

Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Previous experience in customer service and knowledge of food service operations is preferred. Candidates should be able to read, write, and follow instructions, as well as perform basic math. On-the-job training will be provided.

Depending on the location, obtaining Serv Safe certification may be required within a specified timeframe. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may also be necessary based on location requirements.
