Asset Protection and Compliance Manager

PharmaCann Inc. is seeking an experienced Asset Protection and Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our security department, you will be responsible for protecting the profitability of the company through detection, identification, investigation, and reduction of shrink and compliance exposures.
This role will require you to ensure all company properties are safe and secure by assisting the Director of Asset Protection with implementation and administration of policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and reviewing electronic surveillance and security alarm systems
- Assisting in coordination of physical security programs
- Developing partnerships with law enforcement agencies
- Assisting with the development of training for Emergency Preparedness and Response
- Supporting functional areas of the business during critical emergencies
- Interviewing and hiring security personnel
- Providing onboarding and ongoing training to security team members
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to team members
- Reviewing and approving timecards for hourly team members
- Providing coaching and corrective measures to underperforming team members
- Performing asset protection-related audits and making recommendations
- Investigating inventory compliance and accuracy at dispensaries and cultivation facilities
- Observing and inspecting receipt and delivery of product at dispensaries and cultivation sites
Requirements:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a comprehensive multi-state background check
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record background check
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Asset Protection/Loss Prevention
- Experience in using CCTV and exception-based reporting
- Analytical capabilities and ability to learn new applications
- Ability to travel overnight for business purposes
- Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Power BI
- Demonstrated safety, security, risk management, and client service capabilities
