Job Overview

WREA Financial and Membership Coordinator

Office Administration:

· Ensure the confidentiality of membership documentation and other organizational affairs.

· Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and cloud-based storage solutions.

Financial Responsibilities:

· Assist the Executive Director and Treasurer in formulating budgets for the organization and its foundation.

· Maintain accurate financial records for both the organization and its foundation.

· Generate monthly financial reports for the organization and its foundation.

· Prepare budget worksheets for both entities.

· Collaborate with the treasurers to evaluate investment opportunities.

· Process bank deposits for both the organization and its foundation.

· Reconcile bank statements for both entities.

· Lead the annual compilation process for both the organization and its foundation.

· Record and distribute receipts for donations, memorials, legacy funds, and special projects.

· Create backups of the QuickBooks system after data entry.

· Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable functions.

Communication and Reporting:

· Address emails, mail, and phone inquiries as necessary.

Membership Management:

· Collaborate with membership chairs and treasurers to resolve dues-related issues.

· Maintain accurate records in the membership management system.

· Oversee membership records, including new member postings, retiree entries, address changes, dues payments, and membership status updates.

· Verify membership status for AMBA members.

Event Coordination:

· Manage event registration for participants, volunteers, vendors, guests, and delegates, including tours and meals.

Spring District Meetings:

  • Oversee participant registration for events.

As a member of the WREA team, the Financial and Membership Coordinator will undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
