Job Title: Launch Reliability Engineer

At SpaceX, we are seeking a highly skilled Launch Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Launch Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of our launch vehicles and spacecraft. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, quality assurance, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement reliability and quality assurance plans for launch vehicles and spacecraft
  • Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action investigations to identify and resolve reliability issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain documentation and reports related to reliability and quality assurance
  • Provide training and support to team members on reliability and quality assurance best practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM discipline (e.g. aerospace, mechanical, electrical)
  • 2+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or design engineering role
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, quality assurance, and project management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
