About the Role

SpaceX is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) team at our Cape Canaveral launch site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the software that powers our rocket building process.

Responsibilities
  • Develop software applications using a full stack approach, including web servers, relational databases, and client-side/front-end technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software systems.
  • Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure software solutions.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies and Scrum ceremonies.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and technologies in web development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience developing full-stack applications.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and Scrum.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Database: Understanding of SQL and ability to write performant SQL queries.
  • Server: Knowledge of web servers, web protocols, and API development.
  • UX/UI design: Good judgment in designing user-friendly and intuitive interfaces.
  • System architecture: Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable software systems.
