Job Description

BFS is the nation's largest supplier of structural building products, value-added components, and services to the professional market for new residential construction and repair and remodeling.

Overview:

Perform quality control inspections and checks of products before leaving the shipping area. Inspect materials, parts, and products to verify that materials pulled match the work order.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect work orders to ensure accuracy of the shipment
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Drive continuous improvement activity through the collection and analysis of data and develop corrective actions that reduce waste and support key company objectives

Requirements:

At least 6 months of quality control inspection experience. Familiarity with various lumber dimensions and other building products. Forklift operation experience a plus but not required.
