Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Highway Infrastructure Engineer to join our transportation team at H&H. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our engineering team in our Ft. Lauderdale office, primarily serving south Florida.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market services to current and prospective clients to assist in the creation of technical proposals and presentations.
  • Oversee engineering designs, including geometric alignments, profiles, cross-sections, construction, and maintenance of traffic details.
  • Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering teams.
  • Perform internal quality control procedures.
  • Develop and grow team members through training and mentorship.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college.
  • Florida Professional Engineering Registration.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience.
  • Proficiency in Microstation/GEOPAK/Open Roads processes.
  • Experience with 3D Corridor Modeling (preferred).
  • Knowledge of FDOT plans preparation criteria and design standards.
  • Knowledge of other transportation disciplines and their relationship to roadway design.
  • Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to train and mentor entry-level staff.
