Job Summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Senior Content Specialist to join its Marketing and Strategic Communications Department. This is a term position through June 2026.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications, public relations, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in digital storytelling techniques, content management systems, and social media channels.

The Senior Content Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, writing, shooting, and producing content for digital, interactive, social, and other emerging communication technologies to advance the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center's new hospital tower.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal communication skills, presentation, and negotiation skills, as well as strong problem-solving, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

The position will be embedded within a team dedicated to the new tower's construction and opening, and will collaborate with other teams including video, content, social media, and digital.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an eye for interesting narratives who can proactively seek and develop content.
