About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team at Bay State Community Services Inc. in the Massachusetts Impaired Driver Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments for new and returning clients to identify their needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Facilitate group psychoeducational sessions, including planning, implementing, and supervising activities that align with the MID curriculum, to promote client growth and development.
  • Monitor and document client progress, noting changes in behavior, performance, and physical or emotional health, and provide referrals to higher levels of care as needed.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with referral sources, community members, colleagues, supervisors, employees, and other agency programs.
  • Participate in staff meetings, supervision, professional development trainings, and annual performance evaluations to ensure ongoing growth and development.
  • Promote a culture of learning and respect within the agency, aligning with our mission and strategic plan.
  • Exhibit professionalism in all job functions, including confidentiality, boundaries, and respect for colleagues.
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, or a certification in addiction services.
  • Experience conducting intake assessments and facilitating psychoeducational group meetings.
  • Ability to work with court-mandated clients.
  • Computer proficiency, strong organizational skills, and effective communication skills.
