Job Summary

Quincy Medical Group is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in restoring function, alleviating pain, and preventing disability through the administration of medically prescribed physical therapy treatments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage dysfunction to enhance physical and functional abilities.
  • Conduct thorough examinations, interpret physician referrals, gather patient history, and perform tests and measures to identify problems.
  • Establish individualized short- and long-term goals for each patient's episode of care, utilizing evidence-based interventions to achieve these goals and adjust treatments as needed for efficient progress.
  • Effectively manage patient care, provide clinical supervision, and maintain open communication with referring providers.
  • Participate in meetings, committees, and professional development activities.

Requirements

  • Valid Illinois licensure or eligibility, along with CPR certification.
  • Graduation from an approved APTA school of physical therapy.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, lifting, and performing various therapeutic maneuvers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and interact compassionately with patients.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards, protecting patient confidentiality, and providing a safe and respectful environment.
