Job Summary:

As an Environmental Services Aide with CharterCARE Health Partners, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our hospital facilities. Under the direction of the Environmental Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, common areas, and equipment.
  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Restock and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on best practices and procedures.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in hospital housekeeping or a related field is a plus.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Working Conditions:
  • Work in a fast-paced hospital environment with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • May be required to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
