About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at ThedaCare Medical Center - Berlin in Berlin, Wisconsin. As a key member of our interprofessional team, you will provide patient-centered care across the continuum while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will possess current Wisconsin LPN licensure and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Schedule and Benefits
  • This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $55,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and professional development.
  • The scheduled weekly hours are 24, with an FTE of 0.6.
Responsibilities
  1. You will perform delegated tasks using evidence-based practice and specific competencies to collect data on patients' physical condition and nursing needs.
  2. You will assist in meeting the care needs of patients in collaboration with the interprofessional team to provide the highest quality of care and clinical outcomes.
  3. You will demonstrate clinical expertise in providing care in the clinical specialty assigned and perform all functions of the licensed practical nurse that are age-appropriate, developmentally sensitive, and culturally specific.
Requirements
  1. Current Wisconsin LPN licensure
  2. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
Work Environment

This position requires frequent exposure to sharp objects and instruments, occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
