Job Summary

Mitchell Martin, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled RN Nurse Manager to lead our Infection Control team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clinical leadership to the Infection Control team, ensuring seamless daily operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of Patient Care Associates, Health Coaches, and Licensed Practical Nurses to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Collaborate with Site Coordinators and Practice Managers to oversee Patient Service Representatives and ensure effective staffing assignments.
  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance, identifying training needs to optimize team functioning.
  • Develop and implement protocols to improve performance and patient satisfaction.
  • Oversee inventory control, maintaining adequate supplies, equipment, and instruments in patient care areas.
  • Review supply requests with Lead Clinicians and provide monthly procedure reports.
  • Participate in huddles, unit meetings, and other meetings as needed to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Consult with Lead Clinicians and Program Managers to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Ensure clinical practice compliance with Managed Care/HMO, Federal, and State guidelines.
  • Participate in Quality Management, Joint Commission, Infection Prevention Control, and Manager's planning and operational activities.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse associate or bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing School.
  • New York State Licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory/management position.
  • Demonstrates satisfactory interpersonal relationship and evidence of good professional conduct.
  • BCLS certification required.
  • Infection Control certificate required.
  • Child Abuse certificate required.
  • Bilingual a plus.
