About the Role:

ITS Technology and Logistics, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Railroad Switchman to join our team. As a key member of our global supply chain, this individual will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor switch points to ensure proper alignment and track condition to guarantee safe operation.
  • Couple and uncouple air hoses between railcars and replace broken 75lb railcar connectors.
  • Collaborate with other team members to maintain a high level of safety and productivity.
  • Participate in regular safety inspections and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of rail experience, preferably in switching or conductor roles.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs and climb ladders and stairs both on and off railcars.
  • Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug screening.
