Job Summary

This is a full-time, hourly position responsible for the installation of custom cabinetry in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in millwork, carpentry, and production experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load company vehicles with outbound materials for installations
  • Read cabinet drawings and specifications for installations in route to job sites
  • Participate in discussions with install crews to formulate daily plans
  • Unload materials from trailers at job sites and set up tools for installation
  • Install cabinets using pneumatic and electrical hand tools, verifying dimensions and quality
  • Complete cabinet installation, including puttying and sanding seams, and scribing cabinets to finish floors
  • Ensure cabinets meet HTC quality standards
  • Notify Lead Installer of any installation issues or damaged product
  • Clean up job sites and assist crews in loading tools back into company vehicles
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring safe operations of tools and equipment
Requirements
  • Millwork, carpentry, and production experience (1-year minimum)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read a tape measure and use pneumatic and electrical hand tools, machinery, and saws
  • Ability to perform maintenance and minor repairs on machinery and saws
  • Strict adherence to corporate values and LEAN manufacturing principles
  • Willingness to submit to pre-employment background verification, medical review, and drug and alcohol screening
  • Able to read, write, and communicate (speak, hear, and understand) English
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including inclement and extreme temperatures
  • Able to work on and around heavy equipment
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed at various job sites, including shops and residential homes under construction
  • Frequently works near moving mechanical parts, exposed to vibration, humidity, changes in temperature, and loud noise
