Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze repair cost estimates with our body shop manager or production manager.
  • Determine the feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
  • Evaluate the practicality of repair versus payment of vehicle market value before an accident.
  • Prepare insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
  • Estimate the cost of repainting, converting to special purpose, or customizing undamaged vehicles.
  • Presentation of information and responding to questions from managers and guests.
  • Account management and development.
  • Delivering a great customer experience by following established guidelines.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of previous estimator experience is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Excellent communication skills, high level of initiative, and ability to work in a team.
  • MS Office knowledge, computer software, internet proficiency, and general math skills.
  • Previous customer service experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong ability to multitask in a high-stress, task-oriented field.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and have a valid driver's license.
  • Professional appearance in accordance with our body shop policies and dress code.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, bend, squat, kneel, or stoop occasionally, and lift 25 pounds comfortably.

Compensation: $40,000.00-$100,000.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
