Job Summary:

Nightwing is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Raleigh / Morrisville, NC. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for managing web security applications to monitor and mitigate attacks on web-facing applications. You will work as part of a small cross-functional team to develop and support a secure web presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure internal and external data security, adhering to best practices and compliance standards. Implement observability across platforms for application monitoring and alerting. Deploy threat detection and mitigation techniques to ensure data/application security. Work with auditors to ensure security compliance.

Requirements:

5+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree are required. Functional comprehension of web application architecture. Understanding of PCI Security requirements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A combination of relevant work experience and education that would equal 1-3 years of relevant work experience with a record of accomplishment.

Desired Skills:

Functional understanding of webservice Client-side protection techniques for PCI DSS compliance. Understanding of web application filtering, Botnet protection, API security.
