Job Overview

The selected candidate will demonstrate advanced engineering capabilities in relation to endpoint security technologies, including but not limited to Antivirus solutions such as EDR/XDR and Symantec Endpoint Security Complete (SESC), particularly within a large-scale organizational framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess extensive knowledge of Windows domains, workstation platforms, registry settings, and network protocols, including emerging mobile platforms like iOS and Android.
  • Implement, configure, and effectively utilize features of Symantec Antivirus within the Symantec Endpoint Security Complete framework to enhance endpoint protection.
  • Utilize Symantec Cyber Defense Manager (CDM) for comprehensive Endpoint and Enterprise security solutions.
  • Engineer secure computer builds and develop security policies tailored to organizational needs.
  • Provide expert security guidance on technical engineering for endpoint environments, ensuring robust settings, policies, and design configurations.
  • Communicate complex technical issues clearly to fellow engineers and collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve systemic configuration challenges.
  • Exhibit self-motivation and take ownership of issues, demonstrating a commitment to achieving complete resolution.
  • Adapt to evolving work environments with flexibility and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Employ creative problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.

The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded technology background in a distributed computing environment, with 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in technology and infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project planning.
  • Exceptional writing capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile operating systems (iOS, Android).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud.
  • Competence in the Microsoft Office suite and Mobile Device Management (MDM) services.
