**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Technician to join our team at Webber. As an Electrical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of provincial highway and facility electrical systems, including flashing beacons and lighting systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Setup and removal of traffic control devices:** Ensure safe and efficient setup and removal of traffic control devices to minimize disruptions to traffic flow.
  • **Maintenance of highway and facility electrical systems:** Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairing faults.
  • **Utilize troubleshooting skills for fault diagnostics:** Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair electrical system faults, ensuring uninterrupted services.
  • **Ensure work is conducted safely and efficiently:** Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment and efficient completion of tasks.
  • **Perform other duties as assigned:** Assist with other tasks and projects as required to support the smooth operation of our electrical systems.

**Requirements:**

  • **Ability to cooperate and communicate effectively:** Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • **Consistent adherence to company and safety policies:** Adhere to company policies and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • **Basic math skills and ability to understand instructions:** Possess basic math skills and the ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • **Familiarity with hand tools and power equipment:** Familiarity with hand tools and power equipment, including aerial devices.
  • **Highly developed safety awareness:** Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and a willingness to follow safety protocols.
  • **Previous experience in electrical system maintenance:** Previous experience in electrical system maintenance, preferably in a highway or facility setting.

**Licenses and Certifications:**

  • **Valid US Driver's License:** Possess a valid US driver's license.
  • **Master Electrician License:** Hold a Master Electrician license.
  • **Certification for aerial device operation:** Possess certification for aerial device operation.
  • **Completion of specific manufacturer's courses:** Complete specific manufacturer's courses as required.

**Work Conditions/Physical Demands:**

The physical demands of this role include lifting up to 50 pounds and using various tools and equipment. The work environment includes exposure to various weather conditions and chemicals.
