Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year

Job Description:

As a Nursing Academic Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding nursing students to achieve their full potential. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting students' learning through workshops, remediation sessions, group tutorials, and one-on-one meetings to improve course performance. You will also ensure the integration of ATI tools and resources in all student meetings to enhance remediation and concept understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students' learning through various teaching methods, including workshops, remediation sessions, and one-on-one meetings.
  • Integrate ATI tools and resources into student meetings to enhance remediation and concept understanding.
  • Create strategies to improve test-taking skills, study skills, and note-taking skills among students.
  • Collaborate with faculty to identify course weaknesses and develop innovative initiatives to address them.
  • Identify students at risk of persistence issues and develop action plans to support them.
  • Evaluate data to assess the effectiveness of course-specific persistence strategies and progress towards mutually established objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in nursing, education, or administration.
  • Professional nurse licensure.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse providing direct patient care or equivalent.
